I don't have to know everything before I start.

Every project starts with understanding what you're actually trying to accomplish.

    First, I figure out what you're trying to accomplish and what the project actually involves.

    I look at what the job requires, what I know, what I need to learn, and whether Matrix is genuinely a good fit.

    Learn

    If something is unfamiliar, I take the time to research, learn, ask questions, and understand the right way to approach it.

    Work

    Once we know what needs to happen, I get to work. Carefully, intentionally, and without pretending I know something I don't.

    Communicate

    If something changes, I communicate it. If I run into something outside my capabilities, I'll tell you.

    Finish

    The goal is simple: leave the project further along than when we started — ideally completed, improved, or with a clear path forward.
